A tiny creature found itself in a fix when it fell in between the wall of a house in Phoenix, Arizona. The animal in question was a kitten that may have accidentally ended up there when the mommy cat tried to move her litter to the attic.
The owners heard the “meowing” from their attic and immediately called the Emergency Animal Medical Technician. Andy Gallo from the Arizona Humane Society was happy to respond, however, he had no idea what lay in store for him.
He told PeoplePets: “It was one of my more difficult rescues and I was surprised to find that I would have to not only cut through drywall but also cut through concrete with my saw in order to save the kitten.”
“I knew I had to do whatever it took to save the kitten’s life,” he added.
When they finally cut through the concrete, they found him curled up in the corner covered in concrete dust.
They named him Gavin and at the time of the rescue, he was too young and was bottle-fed every two to three hours. They decided that he will be put up for adoption when he is old enough.
