It’s good to be kind to strangers, because you never know, maybe one day you too might need a little help. Here’s a story of a simple act of kindness that took place earlier this year—kind acts never get old.
On one very wet day in January this year, Buenos Aires in Argentina was hit by a heavy thunderstorm. The streets were awash from the heavy downpour, and naturally, everyone or anything not under cover got soaked, including two stray dogs who were sopping wet and shivering by the roadside.
A bus happened to by driving by at this moment. What happened next amazed the passengers on the bus. The bus driver stopped the bus, got out and carried the two frightened dogs onboard.
“They were two very scared little dogs,” said Stella Maris San Martín, a witness to the beautiful scene. “He never tried to put them off. He spoke to them like they were his own.”
Whilst pets are not normally permitted on public buses, this bus driver is being called a hero for his consideration towards these poor pooches, who were trapped in such extreme weather conditions.
The image above depicting one of the drenched strays at the front with the driver was posted on Facebook, and has been shared over 10,000 times. We too want to let our readers know of this beautiful act of kindness.
