This adventurous 3-year-old tabby cat found himself in a tight situation when he became trapped between 2 walls and nearly suffocated. Thanks to the careful demolition efforts of a fireman, this kitty was delivered from his sticky predicament.
No one knows what led Albums to crawl into a 4-inch slit between a 10-foot wall and an office building let alone how he got stuck there. Fortunately, the owner of the building discovered the cat’s precarious situation. Yet, Albums was 8 feet into the gap and was well out of reach.
The RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) was called and they were quickly on the scene.
Julie Parsons, an animal collection officer from RSPCA shared: “No one knew how he managed to fit in there in the first place.”
Seeing that Albums was having difficulty breathing, the rescuers knew they had to act fast to save the feline. First, they had to pinpoint his exact location from the other side of the wall before carefully removing the bricks one-by-one.
Thanks to their effort, a few hours later, Albums escaped his cramped situation and was returned to safety. Despite his initial panic afterward, he seemed all intact. Parsons and her rescue team were delighted when they were finally able to reunite Albums with his owner safe and sound.
Perhaps after his harrowing experience, Albums will appreciate the good owner of the building who saw him and all those kind humans who took it upon themselves to save one of his 9 feline lives!
