If you get locked out of your own car, don’t worry—this cool trick is all that you need

With the simple trick shown in this video, you can rest assured that you’ll never again feel helpless after inadvertently leaving your car keys on the front seat of your older model vehicle.

It’s a real challenge being locked out of your own car! So, it’s best to arm yourself—who knows, perhaps you’ll come across someone who desperately needs you to unlock their car for them.

All you need is a thin, smooth rope. Make a slipknot and feed it through the gap between the door’s frame and the body of the car—aim it over that small door lock by the window; with a little bit of luck if you’re able to wrap the noose knot around the lock—you’re all set! Just pull it up to unlock it.
