Twin sisters are terrified to open college decision emails—then, the hysterical crying begins

For the parents of twins, the college acceptance process can be incredibly stressful.

Just ask the parents of these twin sisters from New Jersey, who both applied to Ivy League schools and got their acceptance decisions via email at the same time.

Both sisters had applied to the University of Pennsylvania, one of the eight Ivy League schools scattered across New England and the Northeast.

Sitting with their coordinating school sweatshirts on, they nervously went to open up the emails from the university together, while their mother filmed them from across the kitchen table.

Holding hands in twin solidarity, they slowly clicked to read the decisions simultaneously—then immediately started screaming when they saw what the school had sent them!

Crying and jumping out of their chairs, the pair hugged each other tearfully at the thought of heading off to college together in the fall.
